Why do we all need to invest in personal development?
September sees the start of 2 new courses in addition to the usual leadership programmes.
One is devoted to women and the habits that hold them back in their career. The course 'Successful Women Rise Together' will be the usual mastermind format and is not limited to women. Men who know, manage or lead women may want to know about these habits too so that they can better develop the women in their teams.
The second course is a 6-month mentorship programme aimed at young professionals who are looking for someone who has already been where they are and can answer their questions. The course include 7 weeks of group work because we all need supporters and the right environment to grow.

The thing I love about coaching is that I go into areas that I have never been, into disciplines I have never worked in, into lives that I can make a difference to. For example, I have never run a marathon, been a finance, communications, or sales director or opened a restaurant. I am not an expert in artificial intelligence, playing a violin or the fertility of rare animal species. And yet over the last 12 months, I have coached people who have or are. See more....

With Jill's great guidance I have now come to the realisation that leadership isn't necessarily about being the best, being the smartest, advancing to the top to assume your rightful place as a doer of great things, but is much more about coaching, nurturing, guiding, leading by example, and taking responsibility for developing others. It is the inflection point between management and leadership. This is a very motivating realisation for me.
