EVERYONE COMMUNICATES FEW CONNECT - 16 MAY 2014
Hello everyone
There were too many items to email to you so we decided to create a page for participants.
I would like to thank again our sponsors, The Bank for Expats and Privilege Services for supporting us and of course all of you for throwing yourself into the day and making it a real success. We are already trying to fix a date for mid September to repeat this day and so it would be great if you would recommend it to your company! We will be using your feedback to make it even better.
I hope that this weekend you have been looking at your personal record and reflecting on your thoughts during the day. It you committed to changing something and embarking on a process then what is your plan? So what now for you....? There are a few ideas below for continuing development.

FOLLOW UP
1) What do top sports people in every field have in common? They all have coaches! One to one coaching is probably the most effective personal development intervention and it is probably the most expensive too because it is one to one. I would always recommend a member of the ICF and there are around 50 in Luxembourg (including Dana and Jill of course) and you can usually find someone who coaches in your native tongue if you prefer. Go to www.coachfederation.lu. You will see on the events page that we have a kick boxer coming 26 May 6.30 at BGL for 'The Art of Courage'! If you want to join us please register on that site.
2) Joining a group of people going through various John Maxwell leadership training material is also useful because you can hold each other accountable for what you are trying to do. If you are interested in something like this, the next group will be 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth and will be one hour a week for 8 weeks. These groups begin when I have 10 people interested so contact me asap at jill@jillsaville.com
3) If you want to gain confidence and practice speaking come and join a Toastmasters club. I am in the Bossuet Gaveliers - the oldest in Europe - and would love to introduce you to the club which meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays in the month. The website to find a club is HERE and if you would like to come just let me know.
4) British Chamber of Commerce - On 27 May 4pm at BIL we have the first of a series of HR discussions. Interactive with tea and cup cakes - subject Motivation and Engagement. Go to www.bcc.lu to register.
Please feel free to contact any of us individually as we are specialists in our own right.
